Job Role: IT Security Consultant (CISSP/CISA)
Location: Hybrid – Sacramento, CA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Minimum Qualifications
· This resource must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience applying security policies, standards, testing, modification, and implementation. At least three (3) years of that experience must be in information security analysis.
· This resource requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
· 7 years’ experience within the last 10 years providing security vulnerability and risk assessment services.
· Security Certification either Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
· Experience with industry standard compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, OWASP).
· Understanding of State Administrative Manual (SAM) Section 5300, Information Security.
· 7 years’ experience within the last 10 years in configuration, support, and architectural design of the following platforms in an enterprise environment:
a. Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
b. CISCO ASA Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and VPNs
c. F5 BIG-IP appliances and modules
· 3 years’ experience within the last 5 years in configuration, support, and architectural design of the following platforms in an enterprise environment
a. Microsoft Active Directory
b. AWS server-less Cloud Environment/AWS Services and Technologies
c. Microsoft Azure Platform- as- a-Service technologies
d. Apache web servers
e. IIS web servers
f. Linux servers
g. Windows servers
Desirable Qualifications
Resource possessing some or all the following qualifications:
1. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching
2. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
3. Microsoft Certified Solutions (Expert (MCSE) Server Infrastructure
4. Palo Alto Network Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
5. F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS ASM)
6. GIAC Certified Penetration Tester
7. Internet Security Certified Product Specialist
8. 3 years’ experience within the last 5 years in configuration, support, and architectural design of the following platforms in an enterprise environment:
a. Databases to include Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Databases and MySQL Database
b. Web API Services
c. .NET Framework
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
